This site’s thematic artwork is provided by Ms Rowena Macleod, whose professional life spans nearly thirty years. Her vision and use of materials is unique, and was once dubbed “Compeinage,” a term used to describe her novel combination of painting and collage. Her accomplishments are numerous, among them being one of the founding members of the Newark Arts Alliance in Newark, Delaware, and she is also the noted recipient of no fewer than two Delaware Division of the Arts Fellowships (Emerging and Professional) in the “Works on Paper” category.
